I have served in many positions in the town that I live in, Oak Brook, Illinois. I served on the Oak Brook Women’s Club and on Oak Brook’s Infant Welfare Society for many years in different capacities. I was PTA President for a 2 year term and volunteered at all the cookie sales, career days, meetings, book fairs, etc. Previous to that, I lived in Westchester, Illinois, where I served at Divine Providence School on their School Board and completed various functions affiliated with their school.

What I bring to the table as a realtor, I feel these different organizations and board positions have given me the assertive nature that everyone knows I have. I have confidence in doing something I believe in. It also makes me very satisfied to know that what I set out to accomplish, I achieve. It is extremely important to me that I get to know my clients. Once I know them, I feel a personal responsibility in helping them find the home of their dreams and help them move from where they are located. I am down to earth, and when I meet someone, it is very important to me to find out what people are about on a somewhat personal level so I can better serve them in finding the home they need. Also serving in different capacities in these towns gave me the knowledge about different areas and locations. I feel I am well versed on many of the surrounding areas. I work diligently in Oak Brook, Hinsdale, Western Springs, Downers Grove, Westmont, Westchester, Addison, Wood Dale, etc. My office is located in Hinsdale, Illinois, but I work in numerous areas including Willow Springs and as far out as Plainfield and Bolingbrook. Many agents in our office refer to me as the “realtor that goes to the ends of the earth to sell homes.”

I have been told on numerous occasions after I give my market analysis at a listing presentation, “we are going to work with you, we REALLY trust what you have to say.” I can’t ask for anything more. As a homeowner and consumer myself, the last thing I want to do is to be approached by someone who I don’t trust. Trust is the main factor in dealing and working with the public. I feel I achieve that. So, these Boards have taught me discipline, compassion, assertiveness, and truly believing in what I do. I truly believe in what I do as a realtor. Client satisfaction is my number one goal.

I have lived in Oak Brook for 16 years. Before becoming a realtor, I was a court reporter in the State of Illinois for over 24 years. I have been married to my husband for almost 22 years, and have a beautiful, intelligent daughter, Lucia who is a junior in college at Elmhurst College. I also have the privilege to share a home with two of the most wonderful parents anyone can have. Family is the most important aspect of my life. As a realtor, I realize the importance of assisting people buy or sell the largest financial investment they have made.

Some of my hobbies are always of a “quiet nature.” I LOVE to read. I don’t get as much time to do so anymore, but that is really enjoyable to me. I am very fascinated with getting into these books that take you away to faraway places. I have had the opportunity to travel to many different places around the world. One of my favorite places is Italy. It is not only breathtaking but the people are warm. I have had the occasion to view different living styles, and I must admit, there is “no place like home” That pertains to everyone. I like relaxing on a beach and watching the sunset. I like quiet time. Our lives today are so busy and filled that when I can take the time to “smell the roses,” I do.
