The theatre pre-dates Classic Cinemas by 50 years, having opened on Christmas Day 1928 as one of the first theatres in the country built to show “talkies.” Sound continues to be a major focus today, and the Tivoli has Dolby Digital sound and an HPS4000 sound system with the acoustic power of 10 symphony orchestras.
